The Xanadu Birdsong is a beautiful and spacious 2-bedroom villa. The villa has been named after the happy chirping of the birds through out the day. It is situated just 6 kms from Coonoor town, enough seclusion from the crowds and not too marooned in the wilderness! Ooty and Kotagiri are a short drive away.

The bright and airy house has a brilliant view of the rolling hills and the valley and the large windows in all the rooms allows you to enjoy the beautiful landscape even while indoors. You can also take in the beauty of nature by lounging on the deck which wraps around the house.

This elegantly done up villa has 2 Double rooms and a large Living area. All rooms have high vaulted ceilings. Wake up to the magnificent view of the sunrise from your bed as the house faces East. The photographs of the birds you will see in the house are all sighted in Coonoor. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of them around The Xanadu Birdsong!

Perfect vacation home.

The décor of the home with wide open glass windows for the spectacular view is awesome. The food is absolutely superb and top it the hospitality and love they serve with and attend to every need. We had a perfect rejuvenating holiday. Would love to visit again.

While I have always found great peace and solace around nature in most of my trips, this experience had a whole new high. Loved the magical sunrise, the beautiful moon skies that painted the clouds silver, the stars that shone like diamonds, the nonchalant rhythmic birds cheer, the mountains that taught us to stay humble and the flowers that stood tall and proud! This trip was planned by me last minute. I just went by my instincts and booked Xanadu - Birdsong not knowing what to expect. As we approached the property we couldn't believe our eyes, it was as if we were transported to a different world. The property was breathtaking with a view of the valley from our porch. The staff were so loving and took care of us like family members...I will not spoil the excitement anymore and really recommend you check it out first hand😊.

You can savour the beauty all around.

Stayed with my family a few months back.. It is a quiet place, ideal if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and other touristy stays. The place overlooks a valley and with a huge balcony from where you can savour the beauty all around. The garden is kept well and a place where kids can have their own sweet time to play.You are unlikely to see humans around and is ideal for a family or group of friend stay. The rooms are huge and the food is excellent. The town is about 30-40 mins from the property and you can get everything there in case you need something.
